9 10 2008

The good:

The Nokia E61i has a QWERTY keyboard; with an amazing camera features that is generally expected from Nokia. It has integrated Bluetooth option and a Handy set for professional people. Push-to-talk and Macromedia flash features also available.

The bad:

The E61i does not support United States of America’s carriers. It is very costly and its features are disappointing.

What we thought:

There is no big visible change between E61i and E62, thought there has been a modification in the design. At the first glance you would notice that the E61i goes simpler with the shed of all the silver casing. The E61i phone is a stylish and a useful office tool kit.  It has a slightly impressive camera feature. This set does not support 3G services and U.S. carrier. The text and images are even visible under the sunlight. Thought it is a latest model; but a phone without touch pad is disappointing. Tiny Joystick is used to give input. It comes with all the known productive apps and wireless options, which make the model, move more among the corporate crowd. This version of the Nokia series runs in OS like Symbian OS 9.1, S60 3rd edition. The features worth mentioning are Wi-fi, Awesome Qwerty Keyboard, Perfect Browser, Loudspeaker Does Not Distort Sounds, Quad band. Navigation soft key is very small, so you feel irritated while using; but keypad has sufficient spacing with embossing keys, which makes it easier to type in.

The good:
The Motorola Razr2 v9 is covered with harden glass and smoothie steel finish. It gives a prestigious look additionally featured with lifetime battery, 3 touch keys are used when music player is activated. There are 2 diagonal color screens present.

The bad:

The Motorola Razr2 v9 doesn’t have entire touch pad facility. Camera lens is at the front some time it may disturb the usage. No MMS usage facility

What we thought:

The Motorola Razr2 V9 is an heir step. Its attributes are very attractive but the Razr2 can be better-improved picture quality with light settings. The stylish folders phone with integrated antenna makes it function perfect. Video call service has an amazing usage for business people. This version Razr2 is a tailor made version for AT&T and its users. Wonderful digitized performance with MPEG-4, H.263 Video and AMR audio. Its got an amazing battery and can hold upto 3.6 hours of talk time and a standby time up to 12 days. Based on the statistics conducted in the test we had it had an average time of 4 hours 30 mins, which is quite good. Thought, it’s different from the ancestor products of Motorola, with the hardened glass exterior which protects the front; and the steel case. It is comparably wider. It’s got an Advanced XHTML browser facilities. Connections can be done with PC and MS Outlook. The final feel that you have is “you feel the luxurious and the big sturdy in your hand”. Since it’s made of solid steel, its quite durable.

HTC Cavalier S630 is a home PC

8 10 2008

The good:

The HTC Cavalier S630 is like having our own home PC in hand, with greater accessing speed quality. The Mouse events on the side of the mobile like scrolling, clicking and double clicking possibilities, with help of the ‘joggr’ strip. It’s again a 2 mega pixel camera. It has continuous 3 hours talk time with just a single time charge.

The bad:

The buttons are too tightly placed and so it makes trouble while handling. There is unnecessary usage of side buttons in this phone.

What we thought:

The mobile Net assessors are benefited by this phone. The HTC Cavalier S630 makes are only with slight structure changes from T-mobile. It has an excellent image quality and portrait mirror at the back. It is an elegant and simple phone. It has a solid performance and is very sturdy for rough use. Slight modifications can be done to the QWERTY keyboard. You’ll find a power button, mini USB/headphone port, voice recorder activation key and a microSD expansion slot on the left spine. The HTC Cavalier Joggr strip can be placed along with the keys without exposing on the side. Sharper Image quality even without flash makes it worthy. You get a better call quality but the sound being flimsy some times. The features worth mentioning are it is got a good synchronization facility, Multimedia function being the reasonably good and has a worst speaker performance which has to be improved.
